I've pursued my passion for art, design, and making things with my hands since I could mix red and blue paints to make purple. What started as filling sketchbooks and burning through film on my Fischer-Price 120 grew into earning my BA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University and filling SD cards with my DSLR—always keeping my studies and practices deeply rooted in
the fine and traditional commercial arts. My design curriculum
included classes in book binding, calligraphy, and silk screening; I have worked pre-press for both offset litho and letterpress; and I collect maps and paper ephemera, old books, and vintage cameras. Graphic Design
allows me to fold together the the hand and the pixel, to produce work that does the job with a human touch.

Welcome! I offer bespoke Book Design and Typesetting, as well as fine art Photography, and Surface Design, all drawing from 20+ years of professional experience and personal studies.
I specialize in graphic design for book covers, interior pages, and other print work. My strengths lie in thoughtful and expressive design for fiction, memoir, and history (I enjoy reading your entire manuscript and getting to know your cast and themes), and wrangling complicated page production challenges (send me your footnotes, photos, lists, and tables). I use my passions for art, photography, craft, history, and travel to inform my work, and my deep experience in the publishing industry makes me an excellent resource and consultant to have on your team. I would love to bring my talents and the expertise earned on over 500 unique titles to your project.
I am always interested in taking on new book design and production projects.
